Launch a Pricing Table

Follow this guide to create and deploy your pricing table in four simple steps.

Prerequisites

BillHive Account

You must have a BillHive Billing account with your site set up.

Full-Access API Key

A full-access API key is required to connect your site. To generate one:

1. Log into your BillHive dashboard.
2. Navigate to Settings > API Keys > Add API Key.
3. Select Full-access Key and choose an access control type.
4. Enter a name for the API key.
5. Click Create Key.
6. Copy and save the generated key securely.

Step 1: Build Your Product Catalog

Set up your product offerings in BillHive's product catalog. Define:

• Product families — Group related products together
• Plans — Your core subscription offerings with pricing
• Add-ons — Optional extras customers can attach to plans
• Charges — One-time fees associated with plans
• Coupons — Discounts and promotional codes

Note: Currently, only plans from your BillHive product catalog can be added to the pricing table. Support for displaying add-ons and charges directly on the pricing page is coming soon.

Step 2: Connect Your Site

1. Go to the Pricing Table section in your BillHive dashboard.
2. Specify your domain name on the connection page.
3. Paste your full-access API key.
4. Click Connect.

Your plan details will automatically populate the pricing table. You can connect multiple sites and create several pricing pages.

Step 3: Personalize the Table

Customize your pricing table to match your brand:

• Colors — Set primary, accent, background, and text colors
• Typography — Choose fonts that align with your brand
• Content — Edit plan descriptions, button text, and feature lists
• Layout — Arrange plans, highlight popular options, add badges

All changes display instantly with a Preview option to see updates in real-time before publishing.

Step 4: Share or Embed

Once your pricing table is ready, distribute it using one of two methods:

Share URL

Click Share/Embed > Copy URL to get a direct link to your pricing page. Share this link with customers via email, social media, or any channel.

Embed on Your Website

Click Share/Embed > Copy Code to get an embeddable script snippet. Paste it into your website's HTML:

The pricing table renders responsively within your page layout.

Use Cases

Self-Serve Sales

Link plan buttons directly to BillHive checkout. Customers can select a plan, complete payment, and activate their subscription — all without contacting your sales team.

Price Testing

Use price override features to experiment with different pricing on a subset of visitors. Measure the impact on conversions and MRR without touching your existing catalog configuration.

Lead Generation

Configure plan buttons to redirect to contact forms, demo booking pages, or lead capture flows instead of checkout. Ideal for enterprise plans or custom pricing tiers.

Currency Localization

Enable geolocation-based currency display so international visitors automatically see pricing in their local currency. If a visitor's currency isn't available, the default currency is shown.
